Ebbsfleet Development Corporation is now gearing up to deliver its landmark Ebbsfleet Central project that will create a central commercial heart for the garden city scheme.

The first phase of works will unlock infrastructure for the new commercial heart of the Garden City, with early market engagement set to start for packages covering structures, highways, utilities and landscaping.

Procurement for the Phase 1 works will offer flexibility, with options to bid for individual lots or combined contracts.

Planned Ebbsfleet Central phase near international station

The project is anchored by Ebbsfleet International station and will see the relocation of existing parking to make way for a new urban quarter featuring offices, flats, shops, restaurants, arts and fitness spaces.

At full build-out, Ebbsfleet Central will deliver up to 485,000m² of mixed-use development, including 2,100 homes, 100,000m² of office space, and 10,000m² of retail and leisure floorspace.

The transformation of the station quarter is central to the Garden City vision, with integrated transport links and a focus on health, community, and sustainable living.

An Early Market Engagement Notice will be issued on 19 May ahead of a live market engagement webinar on Tuesday 3 June.
